Treat your dad to an oceanside picnic at the Oak Bay Beach Hotel this Father’s Day

Share

If you head over to the Salish Sea on Father’s Day, you’re in for a big surprise…in the form of the Ollie Bear Picnic at the Oak Bay Beach Hotel!

You do have to book in advance, so it might not be a surprise for everyone, but nevertheless, this is the perfect Dad’s day out.

On Sunday, June 17, you can enjoy a buffet picnic lunch, a selection of ice cream, and a keepsake picnic blanket to set up in the gardens!

The Ollie Bear Picnic will also include a themed photo booth, face painting, and a visit by the Oak Bay Fire Department and their fire engine.

Or, if the kids are over 19, you can treat dad to a drink! The Snug pub will be featuring bombers (22 oz. bottles) of Driftwood Pilsner Arcus and the popular Snug burger throughout the day.

Ollie Bear Purchases Contribute to Charity

In addition to the items included in your booking, Ollie Bears – the hotel’s traditional plush, collectable mascot – will be available for purchase, with a portion of the proceeds being donated to the David Foster Foundation.

The David Foster Foundation supports the non-medical expenses of Canadian families with children undergoing life-saving pediatric organ transplants.

Since 2012, the Oak Bay Beach Hotel has financially supported the David Foster Foundation using a portion of the proceeds from each ticket sold and event held in the hotel’s David Foster Foundation Theatre.

So, you can feel good about your purchase of a souvenir in addition to your great day with Dad!
