Victoria Buzz is back with more exciting giveaways, and this time, we’re supporting local artists and an incredible cause.
Habitat for Humanity’s ReFind Art auction, featuring 31 exhibits created with used and discarded household items, is on display from May 29 to June 10 at The Bay Centre.
Each piece of art is constructed with household items found at the ReStore. The auction is in support of Habitat Victoria’s Build Program, which provides working families with access to affordable homeownership in the Capital Region.
In celebration of the auction’s opening, Victoria Buzz has teamed up with the Bay Centre and will be at the shopping centre on Wednesday, May 30, from 11:30 AM to 2:00 PM.
The first 200 guests to come down and vote for their favourite art piece by donation will receive a spring potted plant – one plant per visitor!
And don’t forget: if you bring your reusable cup, we’ll give you a free cup of coffee courtesy of Starbucks Bay Centre!
