Comox Valley RCMP are investigating a suspicious structure fire that occurred in a Courtenay neighbourhood early Tuesday morning.
The RCMP were called to assist the Courtenay Fire Department after a fire broke out in the carport/shed area of a property on the 1700 block of McPhee Avenue.
“The investigation is still in the very early stages at this time and investigators will be looking into the cause of the fire,” stated Cst. Monika Terragni, Comox Valley RCMP Media Relations Officer.
