All aboard!
National Safety Week launches today, and in Victoria government officials and business owners are coming together to discuss how to make the workplace a safer environment for everyone.
The event is hosted in recognition of the fact that almost 250,000 Canadians are injured, some fatally, at work.
Hosted by the Canadian Society of Safety Engineering (CSSE) and its national partners, Victoria’s iteration of National Safety Week is kicking off with some compelling stories, an award ceremony, a Victoria Fire Department Honour Guard Flagger’s Parade, and a live demo by the Royal Canadian Marine Search and Rescue.
