The 2018 Victoria Ska & Reggae Festival starts today!

Share

Ska and reggae fans, your time has come: the 19th annual Victoria Ska & Reggae Festival starts today!

The festival officially kicks off Wednesday evening and runs straight through to Sunday, and this year promises to be as jam-packed with, uh, jams as it’s always been.

This year’s lineup features the return of modern ska legends The Mighty Mighty Bosstones, who last played the festival nearly a decade ago. They’ll be headlining the stage at Ship Point in the Inner Harbour on Saturday, June 23.

And Los Angeles outfit OZOMATLI feat. Chali 2na will be making their festival debut at the Inner Harbour on Friday, June 22.

There will be local acts dropping some heavy grooves all weekend, of course—including Vancouver celtic-punkers The Dreadnoughts, Victoria favourites Caleb Hart & The Royal Youths and Sweetleaf, and so much more.

And that barely scratches the surface of what’s in store. Make sure to check the full lineup to see where your favourite acts are playing.

Full festival passes are sold out, but you can visit TicketWeb or the festival website for information on single tickets and Ship Point passes.
