Two people were taken to hospital after being exposed to a carbon monoxide leak at Oak Bay Marina on Saturday afternoon.

The Oak Bay Fire Department responded to a call at 12:58 p.m. after a leak in the lower cabin of a small boat exposed its two passengers to carbon monoxide.

The passengers were unloaded from the vessel after it came in to the marina. They were then taken to hospital by BC Ambulance Services.

No other injuries were reported.
