RCMP scour Thetis Lake area for missing 48-year-old woman (UPDATED)

UPDATE: RCMP and search crews are zeroing in on Thetis Lake Regional Park in their search for missing View Royal resident, 48-year-old Debra Evans-Hayes.

Friends of Evans-Hayes are organizing their own search party on Saturday, June 30, at 8 a.m.

Anyone who would like to help are asked to meet at the Thetis Lake Overflow Parking lot,  located at the corner of the Six Mile Road and Atkins Road. People can sign in and get more information at the check-in tent.

Earlier: West Shore RCMP have issued an appeal to help them locate missing 48-year-old View Royal resident, Debra Evans-Hayes.

Evans-Hayes was last seen earlier today (June 27th) and is believed to be in the Greater Victoria area.

She is described as a Caucasian woman, standing 5’8”, weighing between 154-165 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes.
