Italian Folk Duo Ilaria Graziano & Francesco Forni

What: Singing in their native Italian, along with English, French and Spanish, their performances are fascinating travelogues that take listeners across Mexico and Texas, into the American heartland of blues and folk, and beyond into Argentinean Tango, Central European cabaret, and Neapolitan song. The duo also travels through time, with references to tradition living alongside contemporary styles, while maintaining a magical balance between a lightness of musical textures and expressive depth.

Vic City Soldiers: Album Release Party

What: The VicCity Soldiers was an idea created in 2013 By founding member Jazz Millz. The idea came to reality in September of 2016, when the group came together with the formation of LostBoy, Jazz Millz & Wordmasta J. A strong group of different types of rap styles, Since December of 2016 VCS have opened and performed alongside some of Canada’s greatest recording rap artists. With the likes of, Merkules, Snak The Ripper, Joey Stylez, Madchild , Swollen Members, to name a few. The Soldiers have worked hard over the last two years on there collaboration style of Hip-Hop, bringing a fresh style of westcoast rap mixed with double time from Wordmasta J, Punk style rap from Lost Boy, & grimy westcoast from Jazz Millz.

Esquimalt Summer Outdoor Movies

What: They are excited to bring you another season of outdoor movies this summer at Bullen Park! Bring a camping chair and/or a blanket and enjoy an outdoor movie experience. The Esquimalt Lions concession will be open with all the proceeds supporting their community fundraising efforts.

Oak Bay Night Market

What: Oak Bay Village is tranformed into a European style street market. A wide range of fresh and local produce and food is available. Artists and artisans showcase a variety of wares including wood turned bowls, hand made greeting cards, glass art, paper casting, fabric arts, jewelery, toys, fresh made soaps and cosmetics and preserves. Each market also offers local music, a magician, face painting and balloon animals. The stores of Oak Bay merchants are open with special pricing, tastings, demos, sampling and more.
