Once again, technology proved it can’t always be relied upon for the town of Sidney.
For the second time in three years, the Canada Day fireworks (Sidney traditionally does on June 30), ran into some technical difficulties.
The fireworks kicked off on time at 10:15 p.m. but within minutes the show came to a screeching halt. Organziners asked the crowd to hang tight while they fixed the issue and even light heartily poked fun of what occurred two years ago.
The fireworks display restarted about 10 minutes later and below are # photo and video highlights in case you missed it.
