Earlier: Nanaimo RCMP have are seeking public help to locate a missing 34-year-old Amy Lynn Dowell.
There have been unconfirmed reports of Dowell being seen in downtown Nanaimo, but police have not been able to locate her.
Her family has not seen or heard from her since June 11th. RCMP were alerted to her being missing on June 23rd, which is when the investigation was launched.
Dowell is a Caucasian woman, standing 5’7″ tall, weighing 100 lbs, and has blonde hair and very noticeable eyebrows.
Her family is extremely concerned about her well-being as she is struggling with significant medical issues.
