Move over, Dancing with the Stars – there’s a better alternative in town!

Back by popular demand, Saanich Police officers will be taking part in a dance-off at the Canadian Cancer Society Cops for Cancer Tour de Rock fundraiser, ‘Dancing with the Cops‘.

Watch your local law enforcement officials put their best foot forward as they battle it out for the first place trophy (and bragging rights, of course), as you munch on a scrumptious three-course meal.

They’ll also have door prizes, a silent auction, and other cool ways to win prizes and donate.

All for a great cause

Last year, this event helped send children affected by cancer to Camp Goodtimes; this year, let’s help them keep up the good work!

All funds raised will be donated to Tour De Rock – a two-week, 1,000-kilometre bike ride for a team of police officers, paramedics, firefighters and corporate guest riders who raise money to fight childhood cancer.

Dancing with the Cops still has a few tickets left for latecomers, but they won’t last long, so hurry and get them while you can!

And in case you absolutely cannot make it to the show, Victoria Buzz will be live streaming a professional, high-definition camera production of it on our Facebook page, produced by Roll Focus Productions, starting at 8 p.m. on Thursday, July 19th.
