After a few short months in full service, V2V Empress (the new Vancouver-to-Victoria luxury ferry) has just announced that it will be cutting out its Fall and Winter cruises from the itinerary.

A release from the company states that after receiving feedback from customers and the industry, V2V will focus on providing higher volume seasonal service between April and September 2019.

To do this, they will cease to operate between October 16th, 2018 and March 15th, 2019. From there, the service expects to resume on March 15th, 2019 and continue on to October 31st, 2019.

For now, the vessel is switching up its service schedule from September 30th, 2018 until its last operational day of the season on October 15th, 2018.

Here’s the new schedule

From September 30th to October 15th:

  • 8 a.m. departure from Vancouver
  • 11:30 a.m. arrival in Victoria
  • 4 p.m. departure from Victoria
  • 7:30 p.m. arrival in Vancouver

Happy sailing!
