If the last week and a half of smoke has got you down (and how could it not), don’t lose hope just yet: we might be getting some rain this weekend.
We say ‘might’ because the Weather Network’s seven-day forecast is showing a chance of showers on Sunday, with temperatures expected to reach 17 degrees—but Environment Canada isn’t showing any rain for the same period.
Looking ahead, the Weather Network’s 14-day forecast is showing a chance of showers on Thursday, Aug. 30, and a few showers the week after that on Tuesday, Sept. 4.
As with all weather forecasts, take it with a grain of salt. But maybe, just maybe, we’ll get a reprieve from the heat… and the smoke.
Fingers crossed!
