Police release sketch of sex assault suspect in Duncan

The North Cowichan/Duncan RCMP are warning the public of an ongoing sexual assault investigation that took place in June.

Most recently, they released a composite sketch of the suspect.

An incident occurred in the early hours of June 26. A woman was sexually assaulted by an unknown man in the Duncan area.

The suspect was driving an SUV which is described as possibly a 2017 – 2018 White Acura MDX or RDX. Police said it may have been seen in either the 2700-block of Beverly Street and/or the Cowichan Bay area.

He is described by police as Caucasian, 40 years of age, with a light stubble on his face and a larger build. He has short grey hair with some gel texture.
