A Port Alberni resident captured an astonishing video of nature in action right in her own backyard.
On September 11th, Port Alberni resident Marnie Robinson witnessed a cougar kill a deer in her backyard, and quickly took a video of the big cat dragging the deer’s lifeless body across the field.
The encounter occurred near Evergreen Park, and prompted Robinson to advise nearby residents to keep their kids and pets safe.
The video has been viewed over 80,000 times as of the time of publication.
