Here are the road closures to look out for during Sunday’s Goodlife Marathon

Share

On the eve of the 39th annual GoodLife Fitness Victoria Marathon, runners and joggers can be spotted training for the big run on almost every track and sidewalk in town.

The event features a full 42.195K marathon, a half marathon, an 8K road race, and the Thrifty Foods Kids Run, all happening in and around downtown Victoria, and Oak Bay.

For those who are not taking part, it’s important to know which roads to avoid and what detours to plan for the day’s commute.

Police patrolled intermittent access will be provided across the race route at the following locations:

  • Douglas at Johnson
  • Yates, Fort, and Fairfield at Cook
  • Chandler at Richmond
  • Foul Bay at Richardson/McNeill

But full road closures will remain in effect while runners pass at the following locations – the times listed in the schedule are an approximation.
