The days are getting shorter and the air is getting chillier as Halloween looms around the corner.
What better way to celebrate the spooky season than to check out Victoria’s Horror Escape, an escape room company that specializes in testing both your wits and your bravery.
Horror escape offers three different escape rooms that give visitors 45 minutes to puzzle their way out of different experiences, with multiple rooms to unlock in each set. Each of their escape rooms accommodate 2 – 7 people, making it a perfect activity for a heart-pounding date or frightening group activity.
The company also offers team building events, in case you want to see how your coworkers really perform under pressure.
“Within the spooky walls of Horror Escape, you’ll work with your team in one of our immersive and gripping escape rooms to uncover clues, solve puzzles, unlock your way into new rooms and escape within 45 minutes,” says Horror Escape. “If you escape, that is.”
The three thrilling escape rooms offered right now are The Doll Shop (PG), The House of Occult (PG-13), and The Cellar (14A).
For an example of what each room is like, The Doll Shop features an abandoned doll store that superstitious locals believe is haunted.
With each owner of the store disappearing, you’re given the keys and must uncover what’s happened to the previous owners, and what really goes on behind the walls of The Doll Shop…

Ever since Horror Escape first opened its doors on Broughton Street in 2015, their escape rooms have been extremely popular among Victorians of all ages.
