The University of Victoria has been ranked #10 among a list of universities in Canada.
According to the Best Global Universities report released by US News, UVic has a global score of 56.2, making it 272nd best university in the world (woohoo?).
The top university in Canada is the University of Toronto, followed by the University of British Columbia. UVic and UBC are the only two schools in BC that made the list.
The annual evaluation looks at the top 1,250 institutions in the world spread across 75 countries and ranks them based on 13 criteria including research reputation, publications, books, conferences, international collaboration, total citations, etc.
