Sidney/North Saanich RCMP are seeking the public’s help in identifying a suspect who used stolen credits last month.
On October 6th, RCMP received reports from a local resident that their vehicle had been broken into in Sidney and discovered that the credit cards stolen from the vehicle were used at several businesses just after the theft.
Two days later, a similar report was received by police saying that a vehicle had been broken into and the wallet left inside was stolen. Soon after, the credit cards belonging to the victim were used in the area.
Video surveillance of local stores during those times shows the same suspect, who police describe as having a distinctive mustache, hat, and shoes.
