UPDATE: VicPD officers and K9 units were able to clear the building. No bombs or threatening devices were located, and roads were reopened as of 5:30 p.m.
Police are actively investigating the incident, and no arrests have been made at this time.
EARLIER: The Victoria Law Courts at 850 Burdett Ave has been evacuated due to a bomb threat and there is a heavy police presence in the area.
As of 4:30 p.m., the surrounding block is closed to traffic, and the courthouse has been locked down.
Victoria Police spokesperson Bowen Osoko has confirmed that officers are responding to a bomb threat that was called in at about 4 p.m.
VicPD K9 units are currently conducting a sweep of the building.

A second tweet from the police department advises commuters to use alternate routes as traffic will be heavily disrupted in the 800 block of Burdett Ave and 800 block of Blanshard St.
