Get ready, another wind warning has been issued for Greater Victoria.

According to Environment Canada, a pacific frontal system will approach the south coast tonight bringing strong southeasterly winds.

Gusts of 60 to 80 km/h are expected to develop early Tuesday morning over Greater Victoria. East and west Vancouver Island along with the Southern Gulf Islands will also be hit by the same system.

North Vancouver Island residents could see wind speeds reaching up 100 km/h.

The winds will shift to strong westerly winds Tuesday evening and could reach up to 70 km/h over Greater Victoria near Juan de Fuca Strait.

Be careful out there…

The weather agency is warning people to be wary of loose branches and objects flying around.

Road conditions could also be potentially risky, so be prepared to adjust your driving patterns as well.

The winds are expected to ease Wednesday morning.
