UPDATE: As of 4:22 p.m. on Wednesday afternoon, VicPD have successfully taken the man into custody, and the incident is currently under investigation.

As of approximately 1:30 p.m. on Wednesday afternoon, Victoria Police officers, Emergency Response, and K9 teams are on site dealing with a man who is in breach of his probation.
According to a tweet from VicPD, negotiators are on site. Online reports suggest there is a standoff between police and the suspect at an apartment.
Avoid the area.
