A violent incident in downtown Victoria has left both the attacker and their victim in the hospital this afternoon.
According to a tweet from Victoria Police, both individuals were transferred to Victoria General Hospital after a stabbing that occurred just after 1:30 p.m. on Wednesday afternoon in the 800-block of Douglas St.
Online reports say it was a domestic violence incident in which a man stabbed a woman inside a downtown Victoria restaurant.
The investigation is currently ongoing and anyone with information is asked to contact VicPD at 250-995-7654.
