Help clean up one of Vancouver Island’s most popular parks this weekend!
This Saturday, event organizer Alenzo Winters and park rangers will help lead a group of volunteers in protecting Goldstream’s natural beauty. If you’re interested in helping out but don’t have a way to get to the park, free transportation is available, and all cleaning equipment plus a free lunch will be provided!
Those who are looking for a lift up to the park should keep an eye out for a yellow “Garden City Transport” school bus at the Home Depot parking lot at the University Heights Shopping Centre at 9:50 a.m.
Volunteers meeting at Goldstream Park should be ready at the Visitor Centre at 10:20 a.m.
Funding for the transportation, lunch, and equipment comes from a grant that was awarded to Alenzo from the Province.
