RuPaul’s Drag Race star Katya Zamolodchikova is coming to Victoria this March

Charisma.

Uniqueness.

Nerve.

Talent.

Bringing it all to the stage of Royal Theatre & McPherson Playhouse in Victoria is one of drag’s biggest international celebrities – none other than Katya Zamolodchikova, otherwise simply known as ‘Katya’.

This comedy queen took the world by storm after appearing in the seventh season of RuPaul’s Drag Race and being voted Miss Congeniality by her fans.

She returned to the platform in 2016 as one of the cast members of the All Stars season, and placed as a runner up to winner Alaska Thunderfuck.

Now, Vancouver-based event production company TFD Presents is partnering with Seattle-based company Five Senses Reeling to bring Katya’s rib-tickling ‘Help Me I’m Dying’ comedy tour to Victoria!

The show sold out in Vancouver in just over 2 days after first being announced, prompting the organizers to add a second production.

We’re betting it won’t take too long for tickets to disappear in Victoria either, considering the fact that a show featuring RuPaul’s Farrah Moan and Vanessa “Vanjie” Mateo in town earlier this year sold out in just two hours.

Katya will be regaling the island audience with her trademark, risqué humour featuring various hilarious personas and characters on Thursday, March 21st. She is to be joined on stage by several local artists as well, whose names will be announced shortly.
