A portion of the Sooke potholes viewing area has been closed due to rock slides and potential slope instability.
In a public service announcement on Friday afternoon, the CRD advises that the area around the old lodge site at Sooke potholes is currently not open to visitors.
Viewing platforms located to the north of the closed area are still accessible. The old lodge site remains closed for public safety.
