Get ready to see some flakes, Victoria!
If you were disappointed that Victoria didn’t have a white Christmas, a little snow next week might make a satisfying consolation prize.
According to the Weather Network, roughly 1 cm of snow could fall on southern Vancouver Island on Sunday, with more expected on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday.
Tuesday is set to have the most amount of snow, with 2-4 cm dropping in “a few flurries”.

Meanwhile, other communities on the island can expect to see some snowfall.
Duncan is set to receive similar amounts of snow on Sunday and Tuesday, plus a whopping estimated 5cm of snow on Wednesday.
In Nanaimo, the Weather Network predicts that 1-3 cm of snow will fall on Tuesday and Wednesday in the area.
While it shouldn’t knock us off our feet, Great Victoria residents should prepare for some chills as Sunday evening is set to reach -1°C (but feels like -7) and Monday night is a predicted -4°C (that feels like -8).
And here’s a look back to what a snowfall in February could look like:
Stay warm out there, everyone!
