Victorians with an Amazon Prime account can now order products online and expect them at their doorstep the very next day, according to an announcement made by the company on Monday.

Amazon’s free one-day delivery is being added to 13 communities across Canada, and Victoria is the only city from BC to be included in this list.

“Prime represents the best of Amazon in convenience, selection and price and our ultimate goal is to continue to bring the benefits of Prime to as many Canadian customers as possible,” said Mike Strauch, Country Manager for Amazon Canada in a release.

For purchases to qualify for one-day shipping, shoppers must spend $25 or more before 3:45 p.m. The order will then arrive by 9 p.m. the next day, including on weekends.

Items that are eligible for free one-day shipping will have a ‘Prime FREE One-Day’ icon listed beside them. Users can also filter their searches to only find products with free 24-hour delivery.
