

No this is not a joke, another snowfall is on the way and could be hitting Victoria with up to 15cm of snow Monday – and some parts of the island could get up to 25cm !
Snow has been falling around the region since about 1 p.m. Sunday and more is expected today which has lead to some closures and delays this morning.
Most of the island remains under snowfall warning with Environment Canada calling for a long period of snowfall with total amounts of 10 to 15 cm.
According to the weather agency, this second disturbance will spread snow to virtually the entire south coast with heaviest amounts falling tonight.
The following schools in Greater Victoria will be closed Monday, February 11 due to the heavy snowfall in the Greater Victoria region:
- All schools in the Greater Victoria District
- All schools in the Saanich School District 63
- All schools in School District 62
- Port Renfrew Elementary School
- Pacific Christian School in Victoria
- St Michaels University School
Both Camosun College campuses and UVic are open today.

Both Lansdowne and Interurban campuses are open today, Monday, February 11. BC Transit is reporting no bus cancellations so far today. Winter driving conditions are in effect. Students and employees are encouraged to take care traveling to campus today.
