(Nanaimo RCMP)

A 43-year-old man who was reported missing earlier this month in Nanaimo has been found deceased.

Scot Labelle was last seen January 4, and reported missing to police on February 5.

Nanaimo RCMP located his body in a wooded area north of the city on Sunday.

Police say that their investigation has concluded and that the matter has been handed over to to the BC Coroners Service.

RCMP say there is no foul play suspected.

The incident has been handed over to the B.C. Coroners Service.
