Bring home your new best friend this weekend!
PetSmart Charities of Canada’s National Adoption Weekend is from Friday, February 22nd – Sunday, February 24th, and features 1,800 animals in search of their forever homes.
The animals hail from over 200 local shelters and rescue organizations, and the event will be hosted at almost all of PetSmart’s 140 locations.
You can visit the company’s Victoria location (#10-3501 Blanshard Street) and the Langford store (#A-2401 Millstream Rd) to take part in the initiative.
Don’t expect to be able to take your new fur baby home right away though – some organizations require a home visit prior to adoption.
Over 25,000 animals have been re-homed since PetSmart Charities of Canada created its in-store adoption program.
