Victoria Police arrested two people after conducting a drug investigation in the 3000-block of Douglas St.
At about 11 a.m. on Tuesday morning, the Greater Victoria Emergency Response Team (GVERT) attended a unit in a multi-unit residential building as part of the investigation.
One of the units that two people were inside seemed to be emitting a noxious odour, due to which several surrounding units were evacuated.
The two individuals then came out of their suite and were arrested without incident. The investigation is ongoing.
Victoria Fire and BC Ambulance Service were also called to the scene. No injuries were reported.
