Victoria Police say that the incident has been resolved and that the package has been deemed not a threat.

A suspicious package that was discovered near Victoria’s Provincial Court downtown has prompted police to block off the building to both vehicle and pedestrian traffic.
Officers were called to the courthouse at approximately 9:40 a.m. Monday morning, and proceeded to evacuate the building. Police have blocked off surrounding roads, including the intersection of Blanshard and Courtney Streets.
VicPD are warning drivers to expect traffic delays in the area.
