Yeah, you read that right.
As of today, Victoria is home to the 500th Dominos Pizza franchise storefront location in Canada, and they’re celebrating their grand opening with a BANG!
The new 3214 Douglas St store is giving out up to 1,000 free small pizzas until 4 p.m. this afternoon, along with goodie bags, popcorn, cotton candy, and more.

And that’s not all.
According to owner and franchise partner Dale Lamoureux, Canada’s 500th Dominos store will be running specials all week, so even if you miss today’s giveaway, you can still grab a medium 2-topping pizza for $6 any time this week.
“I started in 1985 as a pizza delivery driver, bought my first store in Winnipeg in 1993, and moved to Victoria in 1998 to run all the stores here,” Lamoureux told Victoria Buzz.
Dale can remember a time when Dominos only had 180 locations in Canada, and today he got to open the rapidly growing franchise’s 500th storefront.
They’ve already given away over 400 pizzas today – including the ones we picked up ourselves – so hurry on over!
