This week, fans of the 30-year-old animated comedy, the Simpsons, will get to see Canada’s Prime Minister, Justin Trudeau, in cartoon form.
On Sunday, April 28th, the eponymous family will be coming to the Great White North, and while the actual PM won’t be voicing his own lines, journalist Lucas Meyer is sure to do a hilarious job.
Meyer tweeted the news about his role on Monday, and shared a video of him doing an impression of Trudeau which helped him land the job.
OFFICIAL: Ay Caramba!
I will be a guest voice on @TheSimpsons this Sunday as Prime Minister Justin Trudeau.
In Nov 2017 I put together an impressions video https://t.co/D548zZNx7g for family and friends and it somehow led to this #cdnpoli 1/3 pic.twitter.com/8UZADrngnj

Meyer’s impression of Trudeau is just one of many that he performers in the video. His impression of the Prime Minister begins at roughly the 40-second mark.
The episode, aptly named “D’oh Canada,” will follow Marge trying to rescue Lisa after she is mistakenly granted political asylum in Canada while on a family vacation to Niagara Falls.
“Thanks so much to the show for this opportunity and hope I pulled it off,” said Meyers in a Tweet.
