Kirkland Signature brand Harvest Burger – Veggie Burgers have officially been recalled in British Columbia, Ontario, Quebec, and possibly nationally due to the presence of extraneous material.
Belmont Meat Products issued the recall after a consumer reported the discovery of possible pieces of metal in one of the burgers to the Canadian Food Inspection Agency.
The CFIA advises consumers to throw out or return to the store any Kirkland Veggie Burgers with the item code A 1748 B20 BB/MA: 2019 AL 23 112 and UPC 0 96619 30958 0.
The agency is currently conducting an investigation into the report which may lead to a recall of other products as well.
