A block of Victoria’s downtown core was closed to traffic on Wednesday afternoon after police received reports of a suspicious package in the area.
At approximately 12:15 p.m., police were called to the 700-block of Cormorant Street with concerns of a possible bomb threat.
Officers quickly cordoned off the area, and sources say that one building on the street was evacuated as police investigated the object.
