On your mark, get set.. aww!

As if all of the fabulous and furry friends of the Victoria Expo aren’t a big enough draw, the much anticipated event is holding a series of wiener dog races on both days of the weekend-long expo – because who doesn’t want to see these cute little guys race against each other?

The annual Victoria Pet Expo is returning to the city this weekend, May 4th and May 5th, and though we can’t contain our excitement over the Dachshund Dash, there’s a ton of fun for the whole family (happening the entire weekend!) as well.

Tickets are still available, and we’re also giving away two pairs if you enter our contest below!

If you have a Doxie who loves to run, these wiener dog races are for you! Even if you don’t have a participating pup, everyone is welcome and encouraged to watch and cheer on your favourite pup!

If you’re interested in registering your Dachshund for the Dachshund Dash this year, you can do so online – registration is FREE with handlers paid admission and included in your  entry is goodie bag, ribbon, certificate and a chance to win the grand prize!

Your dachshund must be well-behaved and must have signed waiver to receive entry into The Victoria Pet Expo and pre-race emails will be emailed to you. First-prize winning Doxie goes home with his own set of stairs and gift pack!

We know you’re already sold on two days full of family pet-fun, but on top of all of this, the first 100 people through the door on Saturday AND on Sunday receive free extra awesome goodie bags – so get there early!
