Victoria realtor searches for suspect who keyed his vehicle on BC Ferries trip (PHOTOS)

Victoria resident and realtor Shane King is offering a $500 reward to anyone who can help  identify the man responsible for keying his vehicle on-board a BC Ferries vessel.

Dashcam footage from another car shows the suspect running his keys down the side of King’s new vehicle while it was parked on an 11 a.m. BC Ferries trip from Victoria to Vancouver last Saturday, April 6th.

The event has been reported to Delta Police, but King is looking to investigate it himself as well.

Victoria Buzz has acquired video evidence of the incident, however the owner of the vehicle involved would prefer not to release the video at this time.

Based on the video, it appears that the suspect decided to key the vehicle after its car alarm went off.

King’s Facebook posts over the past few days appealing to his followers to help him identify the suspect have garnered over 1,000 shares and numerous comments from people expressing their distaste for the whole situation.
