34-year-old woman arrested for selling cocaine in the West Shore

The West Shore RCMP arrested a 34-year-old woman from Victoria on May 8 after a several week long investigation.

According to a release, members of the West Shore RCMP crime reduction have been heavily entrenched in investigating drug trafficking in the region this month.

Their investigation lead them to identify a woman residing in the Greater Victoria area who is alleged to have been selling cocaine.

She is facing charges relating to drug trafficking and is set to appear in court

“This is a great example of the exceptional work being done by our Crime Reduction Unit investigators who are working hard to keep drugs off our streets,” said Cpl. Walsh, Crime Reduction Unit team leader.
