It’s no secret that living in Greater Victoria is more like being on vacation 24/7 – from the beaches, to the gorgeous landscape, to the plethora of fantastic food choices.. we kind of have it made here!
Aside from all of this, our fair city has been named (more than once) one of the hottest luxury property markets in not only the country, but the entire world, and it’s easy to see why.
Thetis Lakeside offers a lot of that luxury at a little bit of the price, and they’re even holding an open house this weekend to showcase some of their new units – read ahead to find out why you should make View Royal your home!
West coast, best coast
Aside from the obvious Pacific Ocean, Victoria is also home to many other gorgeous bodies of water. Thetis Lake in View Royal in particular is one of the city’s favourite summer swimming holes, and the rapidly developing neighbourhood around it means there’s even more reason to stop on by – or better yet, live there!

Take advantage of convenient transit
Aside from several different BC Transit routes to not only the Westshore communities, but also to the downtown core, it’s easier than ever to get to and from View Royal and the surrounding areas. The Thetis–Langford Connector Trail is also a great option for getting around – the 1.3-kilometre pedestrian/cycling trail allows Langford residents to access Thetis Lake Park without travelling on busy roads or cycling on hiking trails, and connects with other cycling routes such as the Galloping Goose Regional Trail.
Delicious eats a-plenty
Though the list of restaurants in View Royal and the surrounding areas is extensive, one cool piece of history is the Six Mile Pub – it’s British Columbia’s oldest pub, is located in walking distance from Thetis Lake, and it originated in 1855! Take a step back in time at the Six Mile and enjoy a wide items from their food menus or a refreshing pint from the bar.
Enjoy local amenities
Making the most of your best life and shopping go hand in hand! View Royal and Langford have many shopping options available close by from grocery stores, to fashion, retail and big box stores. They include places such as Eagle Creek Village, Westshore Town Centre, Millstream Village, Costco and even Home Depot.
