The Kidney Foundation of Canada’s Kidney Walk is returning to Victoria next month, so it’s time to rally your family, friends and coworkers and join hundreds of other walkers in this nationally renowned event!
This year the 2.5 kilometer Kidney Walk Victoria is being held in Veteran’s Memorial Park in Langford on June 2nd, after making its way across the province for walks in many different locations.
There will be on site refreshments at the event, fun activities for kids, and even live music presented by The Stragglers Off The Street!
Every year, 15,000+ volunteers and participants gather at Kidney Walks in communities throughout the country to raise awareness and funds for those affected by kidney disease.
Patients, caregivers, medical professionals, family members, and other caring and compassionate individuals participate in The Kidney Foundation of Canada’s cornerstone fundraising event to help support innovative and ground-breaking research projects and to offer crucial programs and services to the thousands of people living with kidney disease.

Fundraising
Collect pledges and take part in a helping to provide a better future for those affected by kidney disease – if you raise $100 or more, you’ll receive a Kidney Walk t-shirt!

Here’s the schedule for the Kidney Walk Victoria on Sunday, June 2nd:
10:00 a.m. – Registration
10:50 a.m. – Opening Ceremonies
11:00 a.m. – 2.5 kilometer walk begins
Throughout the duration of the walk, there will also be refreshments, a silent auction, craft table, face-painting, and live music.
Veteran’s Memorial Park also has a playground, basketball court, and a public washroom. There is free parking on side streets and in a parking lot between Aldwynd Rd and the park itself.
