RCMP searching for 22-year-old Nanaimo woman who went missing 2 years ago (UPDATE)

UPDATE: According to Nanaimo RCMP, Lana Cuthbert has been located and is safe.

Earlier: Nanaimo RCMP are seeking public assistance in locating missing 22-year-old Lana Jane Cuthbert.

Cuthbert was reported missing by her family on Monday, May 27th.

According to police, the family lost touch with Cuthbert almost two years ago and the only contact they have had with her since was a voice message sent in late 2018.

They have been searching for her over the past 2 years and have recently decided to reach out to RCMP for assistance.

The most recent photo they have of Cuthbert is from her high school graduation in 2014, attached here.

She is described as a Caucasian female standing 5 ft tall weighed 130 lbs in 2014, and has blonde hair and blue eyes. She has a Facebook account under the name “Lana Monstaa”.

Police have reason to believe that Cuthbert may be in the Nanaimo area, and are currently following their leads.
