If not, don’t fret, we’ve got you covered – the Victoria Pet Expo is happening this weekend, and there are still tickets available – online and at the door!
Here are a few reasons why you need to attend the annual Pet Expo this first weekend of May – aside from the very obvious adorable attendants!
- Tickets are super affordable at $8 for adults, $6 for senior/student/military, you can get them online or at the door, and kids get in FREE!
- Daschund Dash wiener dog races are happening both days, Saturday and Sunday, from 2:00 p.m. until 2:30 p.m. – watch and cheer on your favourite Doxie in this adorable and exciting event!
- The event isn’t just for humans – you can bring your pets, too! Animal companions are more than welcome, as long as they’re well-behaved and they have a signed waiver.
- There’s a little something for everyone – from shopping, to free face painting and animal balloons for kids, to two full days of pet-themed entertainment, you’ll have tons of fun to choose from!
- The early bird gets the proverbial worm – the first 100 people through the door on Saturday as well as Sunday receive free fabulous goodie bags!
- Victoria Buzz will be on location Saturday morning – come stop by the booth, say hi, and cuddle some creatures with us!

- When: Saturday, May 4th, 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and Sunday, May 5th, 10 a.m to 4 p.m.
- Where: Pearkes Recreation Centre, 3100 Tillicum Rd
- Admission: Day Pass – Adult: $8, Senior/Student/Military: $6. Weekend Pass Available and can be purchased online or at the door.
