Encountering a black bear firsthand is usually considered a once-in-a-blue-moon experience you’d tell your grandchildren about.
But for patrons at the Olympic View Golf Club, spotting one of these majestic creatures has become a regular occurrence.

A black bear that has regularly been visiting the course was sighted once again on Tuesday morning, as he stopped to watch a couple putt out on 18.
Staff and visitors have seen the peaceful bear strolling around the turf and practice facility quite frequently over the past week, prompting the Club to remind people to keep their distance.
Now that this black bear is such a regular guest, only one question comes to mind: what should we call him?
