Yet another popular fast food chain is jumping on the Beyond Meat bandwagon, bringing vegans more food options than ever before!
As of today, Tim Hortons is officially testing out Beyond Meat breakfast items in select stores across Canada.
- Beyond Meat burgers will be sold at grocery stores across Canada starting this May
- White Spot is launching an Avocado Beyond Meat burger next week
Staples like sandwiches and wraps will have an option to be made with the 100% plant-based Beyond Meat sausage patty.
“Canadians are looking to incorporate plant-based options into their diets and we’re thrilled to partner with Beyond Meat® to test three Beyond Meat Breakfast Sandwiches – including an entirely vegan offering if the market test confirms the potential we see for the platform,” says Alex Macedo, President of Tim Hortons.
“With roughly 4,000 locations in Canada, we’re looking forward to being able to offer Canadians from coast-to-coast a truly accessible meat alternative that they can feel good about.”
- A&W is launching a new Beyond Meat breakfast sandwich in March
- This Mexican restaurant will serve ‘Beyond Meat’ burritos across Canada starting tomorrow
For this test run, the café chain will be serving up Beyond Meat Breakfast Sandwiches, Beyond Meat Farmers Breakfast Wraps and Beyond Meat Vegan Sandwiches to start with.
If the test market confirms a demand for vegan options at Tim Hortons, the company plans to launch a national rollout by the end of summer.
