A northbound lane of the Trans-Canada Highway near Mill Bay has shut down after a semi flipped over.
The incident occurred at around 8:30 a.m. on Tuesday morning near the Mill Bay Co-op on Deloume Rd, and involved a semi carrying a load of lumber and four other vehicles.
When the truck flipped over, it spilled its lumber load, and took out nearby traffic lights.
Heavy delays and congestion is anticipated in the area as crews assess the damage.
