Cannabis enthusiasts in Victoria now have another dispensary to add to a growing list of legal recreational pot shops in town.
National retail brand Clarity Cannabis is officially opening its first location at 603 Gorge Road E on Saturday, June 1st.

Clarity currently operates three dispensaries in Alberta, and its Victoria location will be the company’s first foray into the British Columbia cannabis market.
“I know cannabis can help people, and as a [licensed] pharmacist, this is really the only way for me to get involved,” says founder Michael Forbes.
“So I sold a lot of my pharmacies and got to work helping people understand cannabis. I really believe that pharmacists are best equipped to dispense drugs safely and responsibly.”
One aspect the brand focuses on is educating customers about the safe and responsible use of cannabis while protecting vulnerable populations and restricting youth access.
Their grand opening will take place at 10 a.m. on Saturday, with T-shirt and rolling paper giveaways for attendees.
