FernFest 2019

Finish your work week off right with Victoria’s 23rd annual FernFest!

Now in its 23rd year, the community festival will feature tons of groovy tunes from live local musicians, delicious local food and drinks, an artisan market, theater performances, magic, kid’s zones, walking tours, and so much more! If you can’t make it out today, don’t worry, the festival continues on Saturday.

2019 Victoria Indigenous Cultural Festival

Victoria’s annual Indigenous Peoples Day weekend kicks off today!

Join the Songhees and Esquimalt Nations for three days of spectacular performances on an outdoor downtown stage, special art demonstrations, local Indigenous artisan vendors, and traditional Songhees Nation food. Best of all, admission is FREE! A full schedule of events can be found online here.

Summer Solstice and The Healing Power of Creativity

Finish your work week on a creative and introspective note with the Community of Conscious Living’s summer solstice event.

The evening will include stimulating discussions, lectures with academic experts, music, and more to which focus on how creativity can improve mental health.

Cities on the Breakwater Barge

The Breakwater Barge is continuing their strong 2019 season tonight!

Tonight’s live music headliner is Cities, a Pop Rock Soul band that’s sure to get the Barge bumpin’. Visitors can also expect the usual delicious local food trucks and drinks from Driftwood Brewery, Phillips Brewing & Malting Co., Hoyne Brewing Company & Artisan Wine Shop AWS.

Ky-Mani Marley, Sister Nancy & more at Vic Ska & Reggae Fest 20!

Victoria’s 20th annual Ska & Reggae Fest continues today with a special performance in downtown’s Inner Harbour today!

Join music lovers for a performance by Ky-Mani Marley (Bob Marley’s son) and Sister Nancy at the scenic Ships Point. The show is all-ages but also features a fully licensed drink provider.
