Several people have reported sighting a black bear running in Brentwood Bay.
Sources say the bear was first spotted at approximately 8 p.m. on Tuesday night near Gore Park.

Central Saanich Police issued a tweet stating that the animal was reportedly sighted “in yards along Benvenuto Avenue and Amwell Drive”.
Anyone who does see the bear is asked to contact BC Conservation at 1-877-952-7277.
